Gouka Lodge is a unique combination of western and Japanese architecture, built with hearty Canadian materials by highly skilled Japanese craftsmen.

The accommodation and facilities have been designed for maximum comfort and flexibility for families or groups of friends. The owners, all experienced travellers (and mad skiers!), have paid attention to creating a modern and well appointed ski lodge with modern facilities that still invites guests to feel completely at home. In fact, over half of our guests are repeat customers.

This property is a fully self-contained luxury home with fantastic views of Mt. Yotei, located in the Middle/Lower Village of Hirafu. The house is ideally located, only 1 minute away from the shuttle bus and a short walk to several bars and restaurants.

Accommodation consists of four bedrooms, two with en-suites, a third bathroom, and a vaulted ceiling. Gouka Lodge has an open plan living/dining/kitchen area that provides an ideal home base for groups or families.
